Mural design to be unveiled March 25

Tuesday, March 14, 2023

McCOOK, Neb. — Designs for the McCook Mural will be presented at the third and final community design meeting on Saturday, March 25, 2-4 p.m., at the Keystone Building, 402 Norris Avenue, third-floor Training Room.

A draft of a mural line drawing that the leadership team has developed from visual ideas gathered from the previous two design sessions will be presented.  Feedback on the drawing will be discussed, as well as work for the final visual representations for the wall and what the next steps will be for painting in May.

Everyone is welcome to help paint the first mural, on the east side of West First and C, on a building owned by Mike Deveny. That will take place the last few weeks in May, with final dates to be announced.

  • Great idea to get residents, young and old, together to give facelifts to buildings while telling a story.
