New construction slow but steady in City of McCook

McCOOK, Neb. — Building was slow but steady last month in the city, according to the City of McCook February building report.

A total of $134,675 in new construction/plumbing/mechanical was done in the city last month, led by three roofing/deck jobs at $70,500.

Other construction in February included $10,000 for one residential remodel; $48,175 for two signs; $1,500 for a sewer tap and $4,500 for plumbing.

All projects were inside city limits.

Since January, new construction totals are $231,715.
