HOLDREGE, Neb — Melodie L. Marvin, 61, died Thursday (Jan. 26, 2023) at her home in Holdrege.

She was born on Oct. 25, 1961, to Albert and Lorene (Weitzel) Winder in Windsor, Colo. She married Larry Marvin in 1980.

She worked at the Phelps County Assessor’s Office.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gloria Park.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; children, Ryan and Megan of Atwood, Kan., and Joseph and Emma Marvin of Omaha, Neb.; brothers, Dale and Connie Winder, George and Carol Winder; one grandchild; and other family members.

Visitation is Wednesday, Feb.1, 2023, 4-7 p.m., at Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.

Funeral services are Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, 10:30 a.m., at First United Methodist Church in Holdrege with Rev. Darren Popple officiating. Interment will follow funeral services at Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City, Neb., at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in her name for the family.
