Lindsay Alison (Marr) Webb

Jan. 3, 1980 - Aug. 4, 2022

McCOOK, Neb. — It is with great sadness that on Aug. 4, 2022, Lindsay Alison (Marr) Webb passed away at age 42 in Rochester, Minn., at the Methodist Hospital. On this day, we all lost a beautiful woman who impacted each of us in her own special way. Her death has left us with an emptiness and pain that is immeasurable. We would have all wished for one last moment with Lindsay…an opportunity to hold her and remind her how much we loved her. During this difficult time, let us all reflect on what drew us so near to Lindsay as she had many extraordinary attributes.

Lindsay was born on Jan. 3, 1980, in McCook to parents, Steve and Diane (Frank) Marr. She was the youngest of two daughters. Lindsay grew up in McCook, attending school and graduating from McCook High School with the Class of 1998.

Lindsay continued her education in Lincoln, Neb., at Southeast Community College, where she graduated with a business degree. She furthered her education at Xenon in Omaha, Neb., where she graduated as an esthetician. On Sept. 10, 2005, Lindsay married her high school sweetheart, Ben Webb, in Omaha. They were blessed with two precious children, Asher Gray (9) and Arrow Jade (5,) who were her pride and joy. We are reminded daily of her in her children’s smiles, laughter, and incredible personalities. Her memory will never be extinguished from our hearts.

Lindsay began her career as a freelance makeup artist that quickly turned into a business venture. Vanity Poison was established in 2011 in McCook, where she was able to carry out her passion and creativity in her artistry.

Lindsay had a soft spot for animals and adopted/rescued several dogs. She also enjoyed spending free time at the lake with her family boating, swimming, fishing, and relaxing at the cabin. Listening to music with family and friends was another one of her favorite pastimes and her love for music continues to show in her children too. Along with music, Lindsay’s creativity flourished in decorating whether it be for holidays, her kid’s birthday parties, and more.

Lindsay was preceded in death by her grandparents and her aunt, Tara Frank.

Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, Ben Webb and children, Asher and Arrow, of McCook; parents, Steve and (Diane) Marr of McCook; sister, Michelle (Justin) Vavra and children, Ellison and Hudson of Omaha; father and mother-in-law, Richard (Christine) Webb of McCook; sisters-in law, Trisha (Tony) Ford and children, Taylor and Torrington of McCook and Angel (Scott) Flemming of Omaha; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Lindsay’s name for future designation and may be directed to Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, c/o the Webb Family, P.O. Box 476, McCook, NE 69001.
