Repairs, budgeting on county agenda
McCOOK, Neb. — American Rescue Plan Act funds are being requested to repair the ag complex on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds.
Jiles Bowman will meet with the board at 9:15 .a.m., during Monday’s regular meeting of the Red Willow County Commissioners. If approved, 10 a.m. Sept. 12 will be set to review bids for repair work on the building, which houses the Red Willow County Health Department and the Farm Service Agency.
Dan Miller CPA will give the board preliminary budget figures at 9:30 a.m., and David Blau of Miller & Associates will meet with the board at 10:30 p.m. concerning professional services agreements to survey bridges and estimates for repair or replacement.
Among consent agreement items is a signature on renewal of the county’s cyber insurance coverage, and a transfer of $599 from a health fund to an ARPA fund to correct a coding error. Commissioners will also be asked to declare an HP laptop used by the Veterans’ Service Officer as surplus.
The board will also review a public hearing regarding the North Pointe Addition preliminary plat.
