OGALLALA, Neb. — Tripp Raile lit up Ogallala’s nets for 19 points, but the host Indians found enough offense to win 42-39 over the McCook seventh-grade boys Tuesday afternoon.

Grady Lentz added nine ponts, Aiden Lauer five and Ty Junker three which kept the Bison within striking range.

Ian Spearman and Grady Miller tossed in two points apiece.

McCook did salvage a split with the 28-24 “B” team victory over those Indians.

Wyatt Benes broke free to score 13 team-high points while Jacob Barber and Gavin Alred equally divided another 12, scoring six each.

TJ Puckett’s two points and a free throw from Paker Nokes were also crucial for this win.

The Bison are home on Monday when Dundy County-Stratton visits McCook Junior High.

Opening tip time is set at 4 p.m.
