Bison senior signs to play collegiate softball

Following her all-conference fall season, McCook senior Jada Berry signed to play softball for Central Community College at Columbus starting next spring. Berry will graduate from McCook High in December. She played mainly first base before this fall but became the No. 1 Bison varsity pitcher. More details will be featured later this week. Seated with Jada at Tuesday morning's signing ceremony were mom Fiona Berry (left) and McCook High coach Jason Cochran. Several friends, relatives and McCook High coaches/teachers attended the signing event.
