City issues odd-even outside watering restrictions

McCOOK, Neb. -- The City of McCook Water Department is issuing outside watering restrictions.

• water customers with ODD numbered addresses are allowed to water on ODD numbered calendar days.

• Water Customers with addresses ending in an EVEN number are allowed to water on even-numbered calendar days.

• No outside watering is to occur between the hours of 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day. It is hoped that these steps will help balance the demand on the wells, water treatment plant and water mains. Not watering between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day gives the system time to recover and fill the tanks
