McCook Football League games all set for 2021

Teams like the Cowboys (in white) and Eagles (green) will be colliding again during McCook Football League games which kick off next week at Weiland Field.

McCOOK, Neb. — There will soon be 120 players competing on Weiland Field as the 2021 McCook Football League schedule has been released this week.

Practices are already underway and will continue each week night until the July 16 season openers.

All games are set to be played at McCook’s historic Weiland Field:

Friday, July 16

Fifth-sixth grade: Eagles vs. Cowboys, 6 p.m.; Eagles vs. Rams, 9 p.m.

Seventh-eighth grade: Colts vs. Raiders, 7 p.m.; Chiefs vs. Ravens, 8 p.m.

Tuesday, July 20

Fifth-sixth grade: Rams vs. Eagles, 6 p.m.; Rams vs. Cowboys, 9 p.m.

Seventh-eighth grade: Raiders vs. Ravens, 7 p.m.; Chiefs vs. Colts, 8 p.m.

Thursday, July 22

Fifth-sixth grade: Cowboys vs. Eagles, 6 p.m.; Cowboys vs. Rams, 9 p.m.

Seventh-eighth grade: Chiefs vs. Raiders, 7 p.m.; Colts vs. Ravens, 8 p.m.
