Bison finish 1-2 while team wins Sidney golf quad
SIDNEY, Neb. — The McCook Bison golf team competed in a Quad competition on Monday at Hillside Golf Course.
The McCook Bison golf team won the competition with a team score of 331. North Platte High School was runner-up as a team with a score of 341.
"The Bison golfers competed very well today given the windy and cool conditions," coach Joe Vetrovsky commented.
The Bison were led by seniors Payton Craw and Brady Esch. Payton managed the golf course nicely today and carded a 79. Brady's solid ball striking allowed him to capitalize on some key opportunities throughout his round and score an 80.

The McCook Bison golf team competed in the Gothenburg Invite on Tuesday May 4th. McCook placed 7th as a team with a team score of 368. North Platte High School won the invite with a team score of 328 and Ogallala was runner-up with a team score of 333.
The Bison were led by junior Ian Brown and sophomore Eli Kehler who both carded a 91. Eli Kehler did well striking the golf ball today. Ian did a nice job around the greens and made some nice putts throughout his round.
