Whippets stop charge of Bison girls after break

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook sophomore Shawna Wilkinson sends a shot over the crowded lane in Saturday's game against Minden High School. Wilkinson scored eight straight Bison points and 11 during the third quarter alone, but Minden still pulled away for a 38-30 varsity victory. Wilkinson's 17 points paced the Bison, who host Lexington on Tuesday.
