McCOOK, Neb. - Allan James Otter, age 73, of McCook, Neb. passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Lakeside CHI in Omaha, Neb..

Allan was born on March 26, 1947 in New Almelo, Kansas to Leo and Agnes (Bruggeman) Otter. He was one of twelve children born to this union.

Allan married Jody A. Malleck on September 22, 1979 in McCook.

Allan was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church as well as the Knights of Columbus.

Allan is survived by his wife, Jody Otter of McCook, son Brandon and wife Lindsay Otter of McCook; daughter, Megan and husband David Winterfeldt of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren; four brothers; seven sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Private Mass of Christian Burial for the family will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in McCook with Father Gary Brethour as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, McCook.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, Recitation of the Rosary and a Memorial Mass for the public will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested in Allan’s name for future designation or to a charity of your choice.
