Bison getting bigger and better together
The McCook Bison 12-and-under baseball team (above) show how they’ve grown while playing another summer together and posting a superb 8-1 season record. These McCook boys pitched two shutouts during a 4-0 start before suffering one defeat to Ord. They rallied through four more July contests where the Bison outscored their opponents 33-16. McCook Bison players are featured in photo above. Kneeling (from left) are Bryson Gullion, Gabe Roberts, Miles Pollmann, Jude Schmick and Jack Baker. Standing are Hudson Dellevoet, Tristan Campbell, Tate Schafer, Cole Walter and Adam Kisker. Not pictured: Reese Gillespie. A fun final twist was the team lining up just like a photo (below) during one “much younger” Bison baseball season. The only differences are Gillespie appearing among that young lineup and these Bison later adding a great contributor in Kisker.
