A Nebraska National Guard Chinook helicopter hovers over McCook Ben Nelson Regional Airport, stopping for fuel between bases in Nebraska and Colorado. Civilian activities dropped considerably from last year; Boutique Air enplanements down 85.58% at 30 passengers this year compared to 208 in May 2019. There was also an 85.43% drop in deplanements, 29 this year as compared to 199 last year. The number of flights scheduled in May were 55 each for enplanements/deplanements, with one canceled for each due to weather. Boutique Air is the federally-subsidized air service at the McCook airport and offers daily flights to and from Denver.
