M-HC boy earns Lincoln all-state mention

MAYWOOD, Neb. — Sophomore Weston Morrow was a Class D-1 all-state mention after averaging 13.3 points for Maywood-Hayes Center this season.
Morrow played in just 11 games this season due to injuries, but he hit double digits eight times including a 38-point effort which included 15 steals against Southwest on Dec. 7 (61-44 Wolves win).
One day later, he tallied 24 to help the Wolves defeat Arapahoe. He later added 15 and 11 assists in a tough 65-62 conquest of Wallace.
Morrow’s last best performance was 13 against powerhouse Mullen where the Wolves nearly pulled an upset, falling 61-57 on Jan. 3.
