Air passenger numbers down for October
McCOOK, Neb. —Enplanements and deplanements both dropped in October compared to a year ago, for Boutique Air at McCook Ben Nelson Regional Airport.
Boutique Air is the essential air service at the McCook airport, that offers daily flights to Denver, Colo.
Of the 62 flights scheduled in October for flights to and from Denver, a total of eight were cancelled. Two flights were cancelled for weather and two for “other,” for both enplanements and deplanements.
There were 181 enplanements in October, a drop of 22.65% from 2018 at 234.
For deplanements, there were 177 passengers in October, a 10.15% decrease from a year prior at 197.
In September 2019, Boutique Air showed a slight increase in the number passengers flying in and out of the McCook Airport compared to 2018, with an 8% increase in passengers flying out and a 3% increase of those flying in.
