Formerly under the umbrella of the United Way, McCook’s Community Chest currently serves 10 local agencies: Domestic Abuse/Sexual Assault Services, Ed Thomas YMCA and Live Yer’s, Family Resource Center, Mid-Nebraska Community Action (MNCA) Commodity Supplemental Food, MNCA Head Start, MNCA Homeless Prevention, Prairie Plains CASA, Salvation Army, and TeamMates Mentoring Program

Big Give McCook wouldn’t be made possible if it wasn’t for the generous businesses and individuals which are providing the matching funds, as well as other financial support for the event, which realizes the importance of these successful non-profits. They include MNB Bank, The Graff Charitable Foundation, Great Western Bank, Community Hospital, MNB Insurance and MNB Financial Services. The event also wouldn’t be complete without the support of High Plains Radio, Hometown Family Radio and the McCook Gazette, which has graciously provided information about every organization leading up to the Big Give.

Throughout Thursday, check in regularly to to make a donation and to watch that tally board grow throughout the day - thanks to the generosity of everyone in McCook and Southwest Nebraska.
