Heritage Hills men finish first-half playoffs
McCOOK, Neb. — Heritage Hills Men’s League finished the first half of its 2019 season with some great playoff competition Wednesday night.
The results from each division:
Championship flight: Deveny Motors flew in front like a Ferrari last week and didn’t go flat onWednedsay.
Deveny Motors 21-18—39; Samway/Michaelis 19.5-18—37.5; Golight 13.5-18—31.5.
First flight: McCook Lettering played well enough to fight off Studio 205’s strong comeback.
McCook Lettering 20.5-17.5—38; Studio 205 14-21—35; Gary Thompson Agency 19.5-15.5—35.
Second flight: Coopermill/Loop caught Arrow/Kohl Auto to share the title of what was the closest fight in either A or B League.
Arrow/Kohl Auto 19.5-18—37.5; Coppermill/Loop 19-18.5—37.5; Culbertson Bank 15.5-17.5 —33.
Third flight: Super consistent Sis Farms fought off fast-charging First Central Bank Red.
Sis Farms 20.5-20.5 — 41; First Central Bank Red 18-22—40; Old Sarge’s Bar 15.5-7.5—23.
Championship flight: MNB Financial Group struck gold on Wednesday while rallying past T. Pinkal Construction.
MNB Financial Group 19-21—40; T Pinkal Construction 21-16.5—37.5; Murphy’s Cafe 14-16.5—30.5.
First flight: Mead Lumber/CTE broke free from a tie with Pinnacle Bank entering Wednesday’s final showdown.
Mead Lumber/CTE 22-22.5—44.5; Pinnacle Bank 22-17.5—39.5; Chargin Bull Bows 10-14—24.
Second flight: Power came on and D&T Electric nearly doubled its score from last week, but Community Hospital didn’t blink while rallying past Hauxwell Motors.
Community Hospital 21-18—39; Hauxwell Motors 22-15—37; D&T Electric 11-21—32.
Third flight: Almost Relative finished the largest victory of any flight with a solid final round.
Almost Relative 25-19—44; Red Willow Aviation 13-20.5—33.5; FCB White 16-15.5—31.5.
