Rebels get better of Bellevue, Blue Diamonds

A quick report from the recent McCook Rebels 16-and-under softball victories:

McCook Rebels 16U stole the lead late in the game in an 11-8 victory over BSSC Bellevue Elite on Sunday.

McCook Rebels 16U trailed 8-7 in the top of the fifth inning when Kori Uerling tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. McCook Rebels 16U collected 12 hits and BSSC Bellevue Elite had 12.

In the first inning, BSSC Bellevue Elite got their offense started. #9 doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Uerling led things off on the rubber for McCook Rebels 16U. She allowed 12 hits and eight runs over five innings.

McCook Rebels 16U tallied 12 hits in the game. Narissa Fawver, Ashley Miller, Graci Nelson, Uerling, and Savannah Donovan each managed multiple hits for McCook Rebels 16U. Fawver went 3-for-4 at the plate.

McCook Rebels 16U was sure-handed in the field and didnít commit a single error. Miller had the most chances in the field with four.

McCook Rebels 16U beat Nebraska Blue Diamonds 6-1 on Sunday.

In the first inning, Nebraska Blue Diamonds got their offense started. Karsyn Broekemeier grounded out, scoring one run.

tMcCook Rebels 16U racked up eight hits on the day. Kaylin Martin and Kori Uerling each managed multiple hits for McCook Rebels 16U. Uerling and Martin each collected two hits to lead McCook Rebels 16U. McCook Rebels 16U was sure-handed in the field and didnít commit a single error.

Emma Kehler had the most chances in the field with three.
