Tin Caps top Mud Cats at Felling

FELLING FIELD ó Pinnacle Bank Mud Cats fell behind early and couldnít come back in a 5-3 loss to Sports Shoppe Iron Birds on Wednesday. Sports Shoppe Iron Birds took the lead on a walk in the first inning.

Sports Shoppe Iron Birds fired up the offense in the first inning. Blake Husted drew a walk, scoring one run.

ports Shoppe Iron Birds batters contributing to the big inning included Trevan Rundle and Tripp Raile, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Raile led things off on the mound for Sports Shoppe Iron Birds. He allowed two hits and two runs over five innings, striking out 15 and walking one.

Hayden Uerling toed the rubber for Pinnacle Bank Mud Cats. He went 1/3of an inning, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out one.

Grady Lentz, Asher Wilson, and Spencer Snyder each contributed in relief for Pinnacle Bank Mud Cats.

Wilson and Snyder each collected one hit to lead Pinnacle Bank Mud Cats. Pinnacle Bank Mud Cats was sure-handed and didnít commit a single error. Snyder made the most plays with nine.

Raile went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Sports Shoppe Iron Birds in hits. The Tin Caps also topped Family Vision Lug Nuts, 8-3, but no report was obtained .
