Passengers down 30% for quarter, up slightly for year
McCOOK, Neb. — More than a 30% drop was seen for second quarter totals in Boutique Air passengers embarking and deplaning at McCook Ben Nelson Regional Airport.
There were 208 passengers flying out in May, a 7.96% decrease compared to 226 passengers May of 2018. Second quarter totals for passengers flying out were 371 passengers, a 35.59% drop from 2018 second quarter totals at 576 passengers
However, there was a slight increase seen in the number of passengers flying into McCook on Boutique Air in May, with 199 this year and 195 last year, a 2.05 increase. Second quarter totals of passengers flying in were 371, a 35.59% decrease compared to 2018 at 571 second quarter totals.
A total of 407 passengers used the airline in May, with 208 flying out and 199 flying in.
Out of 54 flights scheduled, 49 were flown, with two cancelled due to weather and three for other reasons.
