McCOOK, Neb. — Dundy County-Stratton’s girls have their sights on yet another title in McCook following a 61-19 subdistrict semifinal win over Southwest Tuesday night.

The Tigers (20-2 record) have already won Cattle Trail and RPAC tournament tites this season at two McCook sites.

Now they’ll return to the Graff Events Center at MCC for a D1-10 title showdown against familiar foe Cambridge.

The Tigers were totally focused on No. 4-seed Southwest as they scored 21 first-quarter points to never trail.

Senior Grace Frederick did most of her 13-point damage in the first half. Classmate Adalene Krutsinger (11 points) and sophomore Maggie Lutz (10) both joined Grace in double figures.

Guards Sable Lambley and McKinzie Baney added seven points apiece.

Junior Jayden Brooks had six points for Southwest and Cierra Clements finished with four.
