Broncos surprise 'Riders with big win at Bartley

TRENTON, Neb. — The Hitchcock County Falcons scored 21, 23 and 25 points in their first three quarters of a 78-40 road win over Wauneta-Palisade Friday evening.

Junior Shaye Porter scored 16 of her 22 points following intermission following a combined 25 in the first half from senior Kyleigh Scott and junior Kass Kisker.

Scott totaled 18 points, 14 during the 44-point Falcon first half.

Kisker added 17 and Charli Apple broke through for another 11 points to lead the talented 8-2 Falcons.

Dakota Ingold’s 13 points paced the Broncosd as she hit a three. They were only warming up for a great Saturday night win against Southwest where Monique Gooden scored 26.

Gooden totaled eight points vs. Hitchcock with Michaela Dukes (seven), Destany Simpson (six) and Haylee Sandman (four) also hitting shots.
