Final D-1 District 9 football selections

The all-District 9 defenders who captured second-team honors this fall are now featured today:

Defensive linemen; Delton Hanes, Dundy County-Stratton and Walter Fitzsimmons, Southwest.

Defensive ends: Dahlton Wood, Cambridge and Hunter Dahlgren, Alma.

Linebackers: Serbando Diaz, Dundy County-Stratton; Branigan Schaben, Arapahoe; and Bradyn Hutto, Hitchcock County.

Defensive backs: Dereyk Huxoll, Cambridge; Paxton Ross, Cambridge; and Quade Myers, Dundy County-Stratton.

The DC-S Tigers reached state quarterfinal play while Cambridge advanced into post-season as well to represent Class D-1 District 9.
