OBERLIN, Kan. — Margaret (Krizek) Vacura, 100 died Sunday (Oct. 7, 2018), at Good Samaritan Society-Decatur County.

She was born in rural Decatur County on July 31, 1918, in Oberlin to Joe and Ella (Heilman) Krizek. She married Frank Vacura on Dec. 25, 1938, in Oberlin. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Vacura; parents, Joe and Ella Krizek; brothers, Dale Krizek, Delmar Krizek, and an infant brother; sister, Eleanor Edgett; and sons-in-law, Don Barratt and Allen Capps.

Survivors include children, Marcella Capps of Tulsa, Okla., Pat Fringer and husband, Rod of Oberlin, Kan., and Reta Barratt of Oberlin; sisters, Sylvia Neel of Fort Worth, Texas, Amy Weichmann of Wichita, Kan., and Ardell Krizek of North Platte, Neb.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home.

Services are Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, 2 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Oberlin City Cemetery.
