McCOOK, Neb. — The agility, quick wit, and dedicated teamwork of the McCook Rotary Club proved to be too much for the McCook Abstract team to handle in the championship round at Thursday’s Heritage Days Family Feud contest. Eight teams battled in a single elimination tournament, as emcee McCook Community College Vice President Kelley Rippen maintained order.

Contestants attempted to name the most popular responses to survey questions in order to win the coveted title of Family Feud champion. Interspersed among the more conventional questions, where questions such as “name your favorite event in McCook” (Heritage Days, of course) or “best make-out place in McCook” (M-Hill, in case you were wondering).

Teams competing were Buffalo Commons Storytelling Festival, Horse Creek Inn, McCook Rotary, Janssen Kool Honda, First Central Bank, Linda Maiden State Farm Insurance, McCook Abstract, and MCC Business and Community Education.
