NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — With a wild 20-point fourth quarter, the North Platte Bulldogs fought off McCook’s eighth-graders, 36-20, Tuesday evening.

McCook made a valiant comeback from trailing 16-0 at halftime.

Jacob Gomez-Wilson ran five yards to the first Bison touchdown, then they tallied two more TDs during that final quarter.

First, Lucas Gomez-Wilson took a kickoff 65 yards into one of those North Platte end zones. McCook made the two-point conversion.

Not long later, Adam Dugger delivered a 10-yard touchdown strike to Jacob Gomez-Wilson.

However, McCook missed this PAT attempt and could not stop North Platte enough for a successfull rally.

The Bulldogs tallied 20 points of their own to secure their victory.

Dugger’s interception of a North Platte pass was one Bison defensive highlight.

‘B’ game
