HOLDREGE, Neb. — De Etta L. Dunkhas, 77, of Holdrege, formerly of Hollinger, Neb., died Sept. 12, 2018, at Christian Homes in Holdrege.

She was born Feb. 10 1941, to Harry L. and Marie E. (Lomax) Martin at Beaver City, Neb. She graduated from Beaver City High School in 1958. She married Richard Dunkhas on Jan. 3, 1959.

She was a secretary and worked at Mid Nebraska Individual Services.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, LaVonne and Elta Dell Eatherton, and son-in-law, Mark Chesterman.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Dunkhas of Holdrege; children, Kristi Chesterman of Beaver City, and Gale and wife, Lori Dunkhas of Fall City, Neb.; sisters, Helen Wolzen of Arapahoe, Neb., Carol and husband, Wendell Smith of Beaver City, and Twila and husband, Dale Fults of Beaver City; sisters-in-law, Vera Martin of Hendley, Neb., and Marlene Wettstein and Shirley Silver of Hayward, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Beaver City.

Services are Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church with Linda L. Knipping officiating. Interment is at the Union Cemetery, Beaver City. Online condolences may be left at wenburgfuneralhome.com
