CAMBRIDGE, Neb. — The Cambridge Trojans delivered some great late drama to cap their Homecoming Week volleyball win over Overton Thursday night.

Trailing 15-4 in their third set, the Trojans rallied and then broke a 24-24 final deadlock.

Junior Korynn Clason’s 16 kills powered the Trojans throughout a match which also featured 25-22 and 25-14 conquests.

Yet there plenty of other Trojans who secured a seventh win in eight tries this season.

Senior Rylee Cross ripped another eight kills past the Eagles.

Senior Kaelie Tomlin served a team-high three aces when she wasn’t sending out 25 assists.

Senior Jenna Ebbers added two more ace serves.

Juniors Cali Gunderson and Clason both reached double figures with 10 digs apiece.

It was more than enough for Cambridge to shake off its first loss against Dundy County-Stratton Tuesday evening. The Trojans will travel to Elwood for their next match Tuesday.
