INDIANOLA, Neb. -- In a matter of minutes, Jim Springer can remove the unsightly stains that tarnish the looks of farm, home and business buildings throughout the Golden Plains of America.

With the use of a powerful but ultra silent treatment, Springer erases stubborn stains from structures by eco-blasting them with water combined with recycled bottles and LED glass.

"We've had great results removing hard water stains from brick buildings, as well as stripping paint from anything that's metal," Springer said, thanking the residents of Southwest Nebraska and Northwest Kansas for welcoming his business to this area.

Springer has a host of images available on his Facebook page (Springer's Eco Blasting) showcasing recent projects, and ranging from the refurbishment of brick homes in McCook to the revival of headstones that were illegible prior to his handy work. The service safely blasts steel, aluminum, fiberglass and a variety of other materials without sanding, grinding, warping or concerns for rust.

Known as "Dustless Blasting," the equipment Springer utilizes is great for paint and rust removal projects on old vehicles and trailers, but it's also safe to use on boats and other marine vessels, swimming pools, industrial tanks, wood decks, sidewalks, monuments, heavy machinery and even for the removal of graffiti or roadway stripping, just to name a few.

Formerly of Ogallala, Springer was a Frito-Lay employee for 25 years before starting his new company, known as Springer's Eco Blasting.

"My wife, Raelene, and I are building a home in Indianola so we can be closer to our son, Brian, and his children, Parker and Paxton," Jim said. The Springers' grandchildren are well-known because they have a rare condition known as Pompe, resulting in the need for on-going treatment and medication for enlarged hearts.

Jim is the son of the late Dean and Carol Springer of Lebanon.

While Springer's Eco Blasting will be based in Indianola, Jim says he can go anywhere to provide the stain and paint removal service.
