Local kid makes good

In writing a weekly column it is at times a tad difficult to come up with an interesting subject. This time I had a little help, very special help. I received the following from a former teacher, George Rainbolt. George came to McCook High to teach Agriculture accompanied by a very pregnant wife Doris Jeanne. Later he pursued a career in banking and now they live in “The Villages” in Florida. To my knowledge, George is the only surviving teacher of that era and now has to be 90 some years of age.
