McCook starts state against Elkhorn team

COLUMBUS, Neb. — The Class B Juniors State Legion tournament’s all set to begin on Saturday following all area final qualifiers Tuesday night.

McCook First Central Bank (21-8) will take on the ETC Knights from Elkhorn Mount Michael at Platte Center in Columbus. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. State schedule posted online today:

Game 1: Alliance vs. Hickman, 10 a.m.; Game 2: McCook vs. ETC Knights, 1 p.m.; Game 3: Ashland vs. Wayne, 4 p.m.; Game 4: Columbus Lakeview vs. Central City, 7 p.m.

Sunday

Game 5: Alliance-Hickman loser vs. McCook-ETC loser, 10 a.m.; Game 6: Ashland-Wayne loser vs. CL-Central City loser, 1 p.m.; Game 7: Alliance-Hickman winner vs. McCook-ETC winner, 4 p.m.; Ashland-Wayne winner vs. CL-Central City winner, 7 p.m.
