Cubs stun Braves, Royals rally at Felling

McCOOK, Neb. — The H & H Installation Braves took the lead late and defeated the Sports Shoppe Cubs 11-10 on Thursday.

The game was tied at nine with the Sports Shoppe Cubs batting in the top of the fifth when Carter Hartwell grounded out, scoring a tie-breaking run.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as the H & H Installation Braves collected nine hits and the Sports Shoppe Cubs seven in the high-scoring affair

In the first inning, the Sports Shoppe Cubs got their offense started. Jalen Collicott doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

The H & H Installation Braves tallied five runs in the second inning. The H & H Installation Braves put the pressure on, lead by singles by Reid Loop and Caleb Shaw and a double from Brett Fraker.

Josiah Wilkinson earned the victory on the hill for the H & H Installation Braves. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing seven hits and eight runs while striking out six.

Kollin Werkmeister took the loss for the Sports Shoppe Cubs.

Wilkinson, Loop, and Shaw all had multiple hits for the H & H Installation Braves. Wilkinson went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the H & H Installation Braves in hits. The H & H Installation Braves stole 10 bases during the game.

The Sports Shoppe Cubs saw the ball well today, racking up seven hits in the game.Werkmeister and Mitchel Cole all managed multiple hits for the Sports Shoppe Cubs.

Royals 11, Orioles 6

Landon Kmoch was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Thursday, driving in four on three hits to lead the Royals past the High Plains Podiatry Orioles 11-6 on Thursday. The Royals opened up scoring in the first inning. Kmoch drove in two when he singled.

The Royals tallied seven runs in the second inning with Keegan Reece, Kmoch, and Beckett Heskett all driving in runs in the frame.

Canyon Hosick led things off on the mound for the Royals. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one inning, striking out one and walking zero.

Grant Cappel toed the rubber for the High Plains Podiatry Orioles.

Kmoch led the Royals with three hits in three at bats. Hosick made the most plays with six. Hosick led the Royals with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 11 stolen bases.

Cappel went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the High Plains Podiatry Orioles in hits.

Bulls 10, Storm 1

The Pfeffer Service Bulls defeated Bradley Machine and Pump Storm 10-1 on Friday thanks to a timely six runs in a big second inning.

The offensive firepower by the Pfeffer Service Bulls was led by Kale Sattler and Bryson Gullion, both knocking in runs.

Sattler and Gullion both had multiple hits for the Pfeffer Service Bulls. Gullion and Sattler each collected two hitsAiden Lauer led Bradley Machine and Pump Storm with two hits.

Tin Caps triumph

Wyatt Benes was on the mound for the B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out four.

Jack Baker was on the hill for the Community Hospital Timber Rattlers. He surrendered seven runs on three hits.
