Storm, Birds prevail in rain-rescheduled games

McCOOK, Neb. — The Royals stayed in it until the end, but the High Plains Podiatry Orioles pulled away late in a 12-10 victory last week.

The Royals put up four runs in the second inning. Keegan Reece and Landon Kmoch powered the big inning with RBIs.

Jackson Dellevoet led things off on the pitcher’s mound for the High Plains Podiatry Orioles. He allowed two hits and four runs over one inning, striking out three.

Canyon Hosick was on the hill for the Royals. He allowed two hits and four runs over three innings, striking out six.

Kmoch led the Royals with three hits in three at bats. Kmoch led the Royals with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 14 stolen bases.

Nathaniel Miller went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the High Plains Podiatry Orioles in hits. The High Plains Podiatry Orioles tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Adyn Meyer led the way with three.

Storm prevails

Bradley Machine and Pump Storm beat the Pfeffer Service Bulls 4-1 on Friday.

Bradley Machine and Pump Storm got things moving in the first inning, when Aiden Lauer singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.
