Amtrak accidents

An Amtrak train is several hours late this morning after striking the trailer of a semi in Parks, Neb., late last night. After the train got underway, it struck a deer near Trenton, breaking an air hose and forcing another stop while repairs were made. An Amtrak spokesman said there were no injuries among passengers or crew, but no information was immediately available about any injuries to the driver of the semi.
