Two honored by McCook Rotary

McCOOK, Nebraska – Terri Shipshock and Adelina Wilcox were recently honored by the McCook Rotary Club with a Paul Harris Fellowship. Shipshock has been a long-time Rotary Club member, past president, chair of the Rotary scholarship committee, and serves on the Rotary board of directors. Wilcox is the president of McCook High School Rotary Interact Club, which has grown significantly under her leadership.

The Paul Harris Society is named after the founder of Rotary International and recognizes friends of The Rotary Foundation who contribute or have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 or more.

Contributions to The Rotary Foundation support a wide range of sustainable activities in the areas of peace and conflict prevention, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development.
