Muckdogs toss no-hitter, Tin Caps triumph

FELLING FIELD — The R & S Water Well Muckdogs’s three pitchers didn’t allow a single hit, as the R & S Water Well Muckdogs defeated Bradley Machine and Pump Storm 5-0 on Wednesday.

Bo Schlegel struck out Kycen Bradley to get the last out of the game.

The R & S Water Well Muckdogs got on the board in the first inning when Gabe Roberts singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Roberts was on the pitcher’s mound for the R & S Water Well Muckdogs. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out 11.

Calvin Corbett was on the mound for Bradley Machine and Pump Storm. He surrendered four runs on three hits over two innings, striking out three.

Espn Hall and Aiden Lauer entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning respectively.

Jacob Barber, Alexander Lashley, Reese Gillespie, Roberts, and Tyler Davis each collected one hit to lead the R & S Water Well Muckdogs.

The R & S Water Well Muckdogs tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Roberts led the way with two.

The R & S Water Well Muckdogs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Gillespie had the most chances in the field with 11.

Rocks top Caps

The B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps stayed in it until the end, but the Schmick’s Market Blue Rocks pulled away late in a 10-4 victory on Wednesday.

The Schmick’s Market Blue Rocks were down 3-2 in the top of the third inning when Logan Sorensen singled on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs.

The B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps lost despite out-hitting the Schmick’s Market Blue Rocks six to five.

In the first inning, the Schmick’s Market Blue Rocks got their offense started and scored one run when Miles Pollmann doubled.

The Schmick’s Market Blue Rocks scored four runs in the fourth inning. The Schmick’s Market Blue Rocks’s big inning was driven by singles by Jude Schmick and Lee Davidson and a walk by Pollmann.

Pollmann led things off on the mound for the Schmick’s Market Blue Rocks. He allowed three hits and three runs over two and a third innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

Tristan Campbell was on the mound for the B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps. He surrendered two runs on one hit over two innings, striking out five.

Wyatt Benes and Benjamin Fries entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

Laken Monzon led the B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps with two hits in three at bats.

Monzon led the B Street Auto Spa Tin Caps with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
