Bison announce 2018 Basketball Camp

McCOOK, Neb. — The 2018 McCook Bison Boys Basketball camp will go from June 11-14, coach Jeremy Yilk announced recently.

All campers will meet at McCook High School and use the southeast doors.

Sessions are set each day at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for third through fifth graders and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for those entering sixth through eighth grades.

The Bison Basketball Camp will provide instruction of basic fundaments, offensive and defensive techniques, team concepts along with actual game competition.

Players will receive fundamental evaluations while competing in various daily contests.

Payment of the $30 camp fee and forms are due on Friday, June 8, although walkups will be accepted.

Campers should arrive in basketball attire and ready to participate. However, other valuables should be left at home as locker room facilities will not be available.

Basketballs, camp T-shirts and other equipment will be provided.
