First pitch

Olivia Meixner, 13, of McCook throws out the ceremonial first pitch during Friday’s McCook Little League opening night festivities at Felling Field. Meixner has undergone treatment for T-cell leukemia and is currently in remission. Victor Schwartz, who is undergoing cancer treatment in Omaha, was also recognized during the first pitch.
