College board plans program reviews, purchases
McCOOK, Neb. — Program reviews, equipment and a new student organization for veterans are on the agenda for a Mid-Plains Community College board of governors meeting here this week.
The board meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Room 213 of Mcillen Hall on the McCook Community College campus.
Following discussion of program reviews, the board will make recommendations for Early Childhood and Graphic Design programs, plus consider purchase of welding stations and consider adding the Stars and Stripes Association, an MPCC student organization.
A closed session on personnel is planned as part of the meeting.
Commencement ceremonies are planned for 10 a.m. in McCook and 3 p.m. in North Platte on May 11, and the next regular board meeting will be May 23 in North Platte.
