ARAPAHOE, Neb. — Cambridge Trojan athletes scored nearly 200 combined points, but the Irish of North Platte St. Pats took both team titles from Wednesday’s annual Jim Mather Invitational.

Ironically, the Irish won both by exactly five points: 103-98 over Cambridge’s girls and 101-96 vs. Trojan boys.

Sophomore Korynn Clason won two individual titles (200 meters, triple jump) to lead the Trojan female athletes.

Addie Sides also won the discus and Cali Gunderson captured a 400-meter victory.

Zack Sickels, Taten Benson and Tyler Borland all finished first for the Cambridge boys.

Arapahoe pulled into third during the boys’ title chase thanks largely to two relay titles.

The Southern Valley girls reached Wednesday’s top five as sophomore Lauryn Samuelson hurled her way to another championship.

Champions and all area top six placers in this track-field varsity meet. Relay names were not obtained.
