Easter 'begg' hunt

Tuesday, March 27, 2018
Pet Pros of McCook hosted its first-ever “Easter Begg” hunt — an Easter egg hunt for dogs — in the Alice Arena on the Red Willow County Fairgrounds Sunday afternoon. Pet Pros owner Pam Gaston and her corps of volunteers scattered about 300 plastic eggs stuffed with doggie treats, and 50 or so dogs and their owners gathered them up in Easter baskets. Posing for Bre Bales’ photographs was her cockapoo, “Oliver.”

Searching for the treats were 10-year-old Brianna Strecker and “Scarlett,” a cotton deTulear, the official breed of Madagascar.
