Interns coming

Carol Schlegel, right, director of Red Willow County Tourism, and Ben Dutton, left, a University of Nebraska Extension educator and a member of the Tourism board, explain to directors of the Museum of the High Plains Thursday morning that their application to participate in a 10-week Rural Futures Institute service project has been approved and that two University of Nebraska students will intern at the museum between May 21 through Aug. 1. The interns’ objectives at the museum include creating an inventory of assets and recommending and developing family-oriented, interactive displays and activities.
