FORT WORTH, Texas — Dan F. Andrijeski, 86, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018.

Funeral is 4 p.m. Sunday at Thompson's Harveson and Cole Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 3 p.m. Interment is 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Procession to the cemetery will depart from the funeral home at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials may be given to Catholic Charities.

Daniel Francis Andrijeski was born July 16, 1931, in St. Ann, Neb., the son of Frank and Ida Miller Andrijeski. He served in the USAF and retired as a Master Sergeant. Dan worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 20 years after his service in the Air Force. He was a member of Carswell Base Chapel where he served as an usher for many years and was a life member of the Knights of Columbus.

Dan's greatest love was his wife, Lucy. Together they shared life and family. He loved his family and one of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid organic gardener and was often seen tending his chickens.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Andrijeski; children, Sue Bieg, Sandra Maverick, Mary and Richard Russell, Daniel D. and Conchita Andrijeski, and Tina Hood; grandchildren, Erin, Emma and Ethan Bieg, Shannon and Reilly Maverick, Merrick and Devin Andrijeski, Audrey and Lana Hood.

Thompson's Harveson and Cole Funeral Home in Fort Worth is in charge of arrangements.
