Bison, Broncos both win their way into title games

The McCook High boys will play for a Goodland Topside Tipoff Tournament title after beating Colby, Kan., 58-43, tonight in Goodland, Kan. Unbeaten McCook (3-0) will play at 9 p.m. CST against either Goodland or Yuma, Colo. on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Wauneta-Palisade girls celebrated their overtime win over Hitchcock County in Friday's Cattle Trail Tournament semifinals at McCook Community College. The Broncos aim for a 5-0 start and title against either defending champ Dundy County-Stratton or Decatur Community, Kan, at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Watch for full results in Monday's Gazette.
