Great cardboard challenge

Isaac Doyle and Derick Spencer, both 9-year-old St. Patrick School third graders, constructed a truck, complete with dual stacks and 331⁄3 rpm wheels, as part of the Great Cardboard Challenge Saturday at Memorial Auditorium in McCook. Sky-scrapers, castles, forts and ships were among the cardboard creations of about 75 kids, with help from teams of friends and parents.
