ARAPAHOE, Neb. — Warren Don Dusenberry, 96, of Arapahoe, died Monday (Sept. 18, 2017), at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, Neb.

He was born on Nov. 6, 1920, southwest of Beaver City, Neb., to Clifford and Luella (Cook) Dusenberry.

He grew up on a farm south of Oxford, Neb., where he attended rural school and graduated from high school in 1938.

On Oct. 26, 1941, he married Bonita M. Hester at Beaver City. He farmed until 1965, when they moved to Boise, Idaho, and he entered the Boise Bible College. He graduated in May of 1967 with a bachelor degree in sacred literature. He ministered churches in Washington, Wyoming, and some in Oregon. Later they moved to Meridian, Idaho, where he worked for the Meridian School Systems. They attended the Meridian Church of Christ, where he served as elder. In 1991, they moved to Arapahoe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth; brothers, Earl and wife, Nola and Arch and wife, Francis Dusenberry.

Survivors include his wife, Bonita Dusenberry of Arapahoe; and sister-in-law, Pauline Blincow of Holdrege, Neb.

There is no viewing or visitation. Graveside services are Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City with the Rev. Pastor Steve Sturtevant officiating.
