Chamber sets golf tourney date, Heritage league results

McCOOK, Neb. — The fourth annual McCook Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament has been set for Sunday, Aug. 20 at Heritage Hills Golf Course.

Flight payouts, flag prizes and raffle prizes will all be featured during this 4-person scramble.

Entry fee has been set at $300 per team which includes green fees, cart fees, dinner, a $20 mulligan and two $10 gimmicks.

McCook’s Community Hospital is sponsoring the dinner.

Golfers will tee off with a shotgun start scheduled at 1 p.m.

The Heritage Hills Ladies played their Rally For The Cure Night and Guest Night on Tuesday.

Highlights from this annual great event which raised $487.25 which will help cancer research and the quest to discover a cure.

Low score: Hailee Koetter, Tracy Sis, Stacy Chitwood and Kristy Baker, 30.

Flag prize winners

Hole No. 3, closest in two shots: Tracey Sis.

Hole No. 5, closest to pin: Peg Dueland.

Hole No. 7, closest to pin: Leigh Ann Miller.

“Gimmie” winners: Monica Macfee, Nikki Frease, Sharon Beiber, Carol Lemon, Becky Loop and Monica Wacker.

There were no hole-out winners.

Heritage Hills Ladies also prived a salad supper for about 70 ladies.
