YMCA diamond champs leave no doubts

McCOOK, Neb. — McCook Cross Fit pushed them to 11-8, but every other Team Pinpoint win was by 10 runs or more during its unbeaten 2017 YMCA Coed Softball League title season.

The lineup loaded with Cambridge and other area talent ran through their regular season 9-0, then added three more tournament wins.

McCook Cross Fit got a rematch in the championship game only to see Team Pinpoint triumph 15-5.

T.P. also took down Red Willow Aviation, outslugged Sluggers and beat The Sort of Bronx Bombers three times among their dozen victories.

Their highest scoring effort was a 28-5 smashing of Glass Express. Team Poinpoint topped 20 runs two other times.

The complete season rundown for these regular season and tournament champs:

Won 13-2 and 20-5 over Sluggers;

Won 17-2 over Quality Urgent Care;

Won 28-5 over Glass Express;

Won 15-2, 10-0 and 10-0 over The Sort of Bronx Bombers;

Won 13-3 over Red Willow Aviation;

Won 17-8, 11-8 and 15-5 over McCook Cross Fit;

Won 21-1 over Wagner’s.
