Champion sisters make their points

The Carfields made a clean sweep of three archery division championships at last week’s Hitchcock County Fair in Trenton as they proudly display their purple ribbons. Middle sister Jordan Carfield (left), age 14, earned the Intermediate Archery grand championship. Oldest sister Sami Carfield (center), age 16, captured the Senior Reserve archery title while youngest sister Emma Carfield (right), age 11, took home a Junior Archery grand championship. All three sisters were competing in their divisions for the first and final times, mom Candy Carfield reported. They are the daughters of Candy and Jim Carfield.
